Is your warm market well-done?
So, your warm market is burned out. First thing I would tell you is to re-evaluate that. I’ve noticed that most people that say their warm market is “burned out” can look into their phone’s contact list, or facebook profile and find multiple people that they haven’t talked to about their business for some reason or another. But, if that’s not the case, you’re warm market may actually be burned out. Luckily, there are a couple routes you can go. Here is some help on What to Do When Your Warm Market is Burned Out.
Cold Market Prospecting
The next most logical step is cold market prospecting. If you have talked to everyone you know, then now it’s time to talk to everyone that you don’t know. This is also known as your cold market. The good news about cold market prospecting is, you’ll never run out of people to talk to. There’s actually more benefits to doing this than you think. You may be thinking, “I don’t have a relationship with these people.” This may be an advantage for people that have not had success with their warm market. Cold market prospects do not know anything about you. They can’t judge you for what you have or have not done in the past. Here’s another great thing about cold market prospecting. You don’t have to worry about what they think. You’ll most likely never see that person again. So if they’re not open to your offer, no biggie. This can be people you meet just about anywhere (grocery store, mall, restaurant). You can get some great tips and actual scripts on how to talk with different types of people by getting my Top Tips and Scripts training here. It’s FREE and I’ll also let you know when I come out with new training on those subjects.

Another great way for you to talk to prospects is online marketing. This can be done several different ways. Social media is one of those ways. You can make your rounds on facebook, twitter, and all other forms of social media to try and find qualified prospects. Just don’t go spamming people’s pages. I’ll be creating more training on this topic
My favorite way to find more people to talk with is blogging. This is not the same as Active Prospecting. This is a form of Passive Marketing. By creating valuable info that helps people with issues they may be having. You’re able to build a relationship that will allow people to “raise their hand” and ASK to work with you. How would that feel? The main thing to realize when blogging or prospecting is to make it about the prospect/audience. Everything is not about YOU. If you’re interested in more info on social media prospecting and blogging, I’ll be creating more training to help with both of those subjects. If you’d like to know when those come out, click here, enter your name and email. I’ll be sure to get you my updates, AND get you the training I talked about in the beginning of the post.
